Privacy Policy

Last updated June 30, 2026

This policy explains what Greenroom collects and how we use it. It's a plain-language starting point and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.

Information we collect

Account data: your email and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.

DJ profile: the answers you give in the chat — artist name, genres, target cities, venue history, experience level, links/mixes, and goals.

Promoter profile: the details you manage about your night, party, or club, including a booking contact email.

Intro requests: the message you send and the profile snapshot attached to it.

Usage data: anonymous, aggregate analytics about how the product is used.

How we use it

To match DJs with promoters, deliver and track intro requests, notify you of replies, secure your account, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

When you request an intro, the message and profile snapshot are delivered to the promoter you chose (or, for unclaimed promoters, to Greenroom's team who broker the intro). We use a small set of processors to run the service: Resend for transactional email and Vercel for hosting and anonymous analytics.

Storage, security & retention

Data is stored in a hosted database. Passwords are hashed; sessions use httpOnly cookies. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@greenroom.nyc. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus privacy-friendly analytics. We don't use advertising cookies.
